We are seeking a full-time Business Leader to direct and continue developing our PNW-based team of 30+ expert natural and water resources professionals; we are open to filling the position from either of our downtown office locations in Seattle or Portland.

The role involves project management, business development, financial performance metrics, and most importantly, leading your team to achieve sustained professional and economic growth. As Business Leader of our Natural/Water Resources practice, you will help develop and implement our business plan for the Pacific Northwest. You will lead our Client Service Management program for this team, which is focused on providing excellent service and support to our clients and expanding our client base. Keys to your success are your abilities to communicate effectively, focus, think strategically, and adapt to changing conditions.

Duties:

In this position you will:
• Develop and implement business development plans focused on the services offered by your team;
• Assist in developing and achieving annual sales goals;
• Develop and implement action plans to meet or exceed regional goals using weekly and monthly financial metrics (backlog, workload, sales, and invoicing);
• Lead the Client Service Management program for your team;
• Serve as senior project manager/project director;
• Recruit for, grow and develop our team of professionals;
• Communicate regularly with regional and corporate leaders on all facets of operations and business development;
• Lead regional and cross-regional workload sharing efforts;
• Serve as liason between the Regional Leaders and Team Managers; and
• Serve as conduit between business development and operations (linking sales to backlog).

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have demonstrated experience in the management, execution and delivery of complex projects; BS degree (MS preferred) and 10+ years of related, progressive experience. Proven history of strong client relationships in the Pacific Northwest with an emphasis on Washington and Oregon, business development, staff management and development, project management and team-building skills are required.
